Nota, on-device AI startup, closed a $1.3m pre-Series A funding round. The round was led by Korean VC firm Stonebridge, one of the independent investment firm which split off from IMM Investment in 2008.
“Nota has successfully developed top-notch AI models that remove the issues of high server/network cost and privacy concerns. This technology will help democratize AI-based solutions to every aspect of society,” said one of the Stonebridge officials.
Nota intends to use the funds to extend its reach in the global edge AI market especially in Europe and North America. The team plans to establish new branches abroad and participate in global IT exhibitions including CES, MWC to attract new customers.
